Tour Plan

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Start your adventure with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and distinctive baobab trees. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting wildlife like giraffes, zebras, and lions. Overnight at a lodge or camp near Tarangire.

Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Ndutu
Travel south to Lake Ndutu, a prime wildlife area, especially during the calving season. Explore the region’s vast open plains, where herds of wildebeest and zebras gather, and predators follow in pursuit. Overnight at a lodge or camp near Lake Ndutu.

Day 3: Full Day at Lake Ndutu
Spend the day tracking migrating herds and predators in Lake Ndutu’s lush grasslands. The area is a key location for the Great Migration, and you may have the chance to see predators like lions and cheetahs in action. Return to your accommodation for the night.

Day 4: Lake Ndutu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, head towards the Serengeti National Park. Explore the park’s famous plains, home to the Big Five, and experience the thrill of seeing lions, elephants, cheetahs, and more in their natural habitat. Overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti. Track the migration, spot predators, and enjoy the vastness of the Serengeti plains. Your expert guide will take you to the best spots for game viewing, including some hidden gems. Return to your lodge or camp for the night.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot all of the Big Five in a unique setting. Picnic lunch in the crater, and then ascend to the crater rim. Overnight near Ngorongoro.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi
Travel to Lake Eyasi, where you’ll have a unique cultural experience with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Spend the morning joining the Hadzabe on a traditional hunting expedition and learn about the Datoga’s blacksmithing techniques. Overnight at a lodge or camp near Lake Eyasi.

Day 8: Lake Eyasi to Lake Manyara National Park
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse habitats and stunning landscapes. Spot tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and elephants on game drives through the park’s acacia forests, grassy plains, and lakeshore. Stay overnight near the park.

Day 9: Lake Manyara to Arusha
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Lake Manyara, followed by a drive back to Arusha. Relax in the city or explore local markets. Overnight in Arusha.
